Bookings and Inquiries:

The main office is located in the front lobby of the arena at 263 Main Street. All scheduling, facility bookings, and other recreation inquiries can be handled at this location. Office hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Public Swimming

Public swimming is being offered at the Lucan pool ($3.50 per person)

Mon-Fri   1pm - 4pm  &  6pm - 9pm

Sat-Sun  1:30pm - 4:30pm

Arena

Summer Ice is available from the third week in July until after Labour Day weekend.  Our 2010 summer ice rate is $151.00 (HST incl.)

Fall/Winter Ice is available after Labour Day until April 1^st

2010/11 Ice Rates (HST incl.):

Public Skating - is held every Sunday from 1:30pm to 3:00pm from the first Sunday in October until the end of March.  The Lucan Arena and Tim Horton`s sponsor additional public skating dates during holidays and school PD days (Contact the arena for these dates and times).  HELMETS ARE STONGLY RECOMMENDED.  No chairs, hockey sticks/pucks, food or drinks are permitted on the ice during public skating.

Parents and Tots Skating – is held every Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 10:00 to 11:30 beginning the first week in October until the end of March.  This is an opportunity for parents to go out with their young children in a relaxed atmosphere.  Older children are not permitted to skate during this time.

Please note that occasionally Public Skating and Parents and Tots skating may be cancelled to accommodate hockey tournaments and any Minor Hockey or Jr. D playoff games.

Advertising

Auditorium/Gymnasium

Our auditorium is typically used for weddings, dances, community dinners, and many other functions.  The hall offers a permanent bar with mix dispensers and a large walk in cooler.  It also includes a large kitchen equipped to serve over 500 people.  The auditorium also has a large stage, amplified microphone speaker system and is air conditioned. 

You will find the gymnasium being used for floor hockey, basketball, and volleyball.  The gymnasium floor is capable to hold two volleyball courts. 

Our facility also has a smaller hall, known as the Leprechaun Hall, which holds a capacity of 150 people.  This hall also offers a permanent bar with mix dispensers, a large cooler and includes a kitchen equipped to serve 150 people.  The Leprechaun Hall is where the Lucan/Ilderton Jets Senior A hockey team hold their Blue Line Club.

Community Events

Lucan Christmas Craft Show is held annually on the second weekend in November.  We have over 75 vendors with unique, top quality items.

Limited vendor space is still available.
