The Township is seeking input on development applications within 120 metres of your property. The purpose of the applications is as follows:
Purpose and Effect
The proposed Temporary Use By-law would permit an existing accessory building to remain on the lands in advance of the establishment of the principal use, which in this case would be a single detached dwelling. The accessory building would be permitted to remain on the property for a maximum period of 3 years without the existence of a single detached dwelling, after which time it would be required to be removed. Should the owners establish a single detached dwelling on the lands during the 3 year period, the accessory building would be permitted to remain as it would be considered an accessory use. The subject lands represent a provisionally approved residential lot through Consent file B-2-2021. The provisionally approved severance lands currently only maintain an accessory building. They are zoned a Residential First Density (R1) Zone, which permits single detached dwellings and associated accessory structures.
