The Township of Lucan Biddulph is a community of approximately 4,900 residents living in a mixed rural/urban setting in South Western Ontario. We are located a short 15 minutes north of the City of London.

The Township requires a Municipal Treasurer. The Treasurer provides financial advice and reports to the C.A.O. & Municipal Council and manages all activities of finance and taxation. This position reports directly to the Chief Administrative Officer/Clerk and is a member of the senior management team.

The Township is seeking a senior level manager with demonstrated progressive, municipal management experience, and a thorough knowledge of municipal financial operations and services including budgeting, asset management, accounting, investments, financial policy, and internal controls. Strong financial reporting is required, as are excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with the Keystone accounting system software and municipal finance-related software programs is a requirement. The Treasurer will be the coordinator of the Township’s PSAB and asset management program. These skills will be complemented by a relevant educational background that includes a CMA or CGA designation or enrollment in a program leading to one of these designations. Consideration will be given to those applicants who have successfully completed the Municipal Accounting and Finance Program (MAFP) through AMCTO and/or have the AMCT or CMO designation.
