Notice of Virtual Public Information Centre - Lucan Urban Servicing Plan

The Township of Lucan Biddulph is undertaking a Master Plan for water, wastewater and stormwater servicing in the community of Lucan. This Master Plan will involve a review of the existing water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure within Lucan and an examination of potential future needs as the community continues to grow and develop. Upon completion, the Master Plan will serve as a strategic document, recommending future projects, design objectives, and providing a timeline for implementation of the identified upgrades, expansions or modifications to the infrastructure servicing Lucan.

THE MASTER PLAN PROCESS: The Servicing Master Plan is being conducted in accordance with the requirements of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA), dated October 2000, as amended in 2007, 2011, and 2015 under the Environmental Assessment Act. The Master Plan undertaken incorporate Phases 1 & 2 of the MCEA process.

PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT: Public consultation is a key component of this study and a virtual Public Information Centre has been scheduled to inform residents of the findings of the Master Plan. This meeting will also provide residents and stakeholders with the opportunity to ask questions and provide comments on the project. Details of the meetings are as follows:

FORMAT: Virtual Meeting via Zoom

Due to COVID-19 concerns, the meeting will be held virtually using the Zoom platform. Pre-registration is required to participate during the meeting. The meeting link will be provided to those who pre-register ahead of the meeting date. Representatives from BMROSS will give a presentation and then take questions and comments from the public. If you are unable to access the presentation material on-line, please contact BMROSS and alternative arrangements will be made.

Any comments collected will be maintained on file for use during the project and may be included in project documentation. With the exception of personal information, all comments will become part of the public record.
