Effective immediately a Burn Ban is in effect for the Township of Lucan Biddulph Fire areas.
Recreational camp fires are permitted if they do not exceed 3 feet in total height including wood and flames.
Camp fires for cooking are permitted if they are proportional in size for the food being cooked from (12:00PM) to (12:00AM) only. After midnight, all fires must be completely extinguished.
All burn permits are now suspended and no new permits will be issued until the ban is lifted.
This fire ban has been issued due to the extreme dry conditions.
