Facilities

The Township of Lucan Biddulph parks and recreation department offers facilities such as the community centre/ gymnasium, arena, 5 baseball diamonds, 5 soccer fields, a tennis court, outdoor pool, picnic shelters, playgrounds, splash pad, skateboard park and dog park.

Lucan Community Memorial Centre & Arena

263 Main Street, Lucan, ON

MAIN HALL/ GYMNASIUM
  • An ideal location for athletic programs, birthday parties, large events, weddings, stag & doe’s and fundraisers.
  • Tables & chairs are included free of charge along with setup.
  • Hall rental includes use of the kitchen, which is equipt with a large walk-in fridge, stove, oven, warmers, dishwasher, plates, cups and cutlery for a sit-down meal of 300+
  • Licensed, bar service is available.

LEPRECHAUN HALL
  • This is an ideal location for large meetings, anniversary parties, Christmas dinners and fundraisers
  • Fits 100 theatre-style, and 75 for a sit-down meal

ARENA/ FLOOR
  • The arena floor is licensed, and when the ice is out can be used for many different events such as dances, Stag & Does, fundraisers, weddings and ball hockey tournaments.
  • The capacity of this space for a licensed event is 2800

LUCAN COMMUNITY MEMORIAL CENTRE PARK

263 Main Street, Lucan, ON

  • Backing on to the Lucan Community Memorial Centre, this park offers 3 full-sized soccer fields, 2 ball diamonds, a walking track, playground equipment, tennis court, skate park, dog park and is the site of the Lucan Pool (outdoor).
  • This park also includes the Community Garden, which is located at the end of Community Drive.
  • This park is also the site of the dog park, which is open year round (except Friday July 8th and Saturday July 9th, 2017). The dog park rules are available here.

LION’S MARKET ST PARK

131 Market St, Lucan, ON

  • With newly updated playground equipment as well as a large pavilion space, this park is ideal for wedding receptions, baby showers and family picnics. Located off the main highway it is quitet and peaceful, and is even the perfect spot for yoga!
  • This park includes a walking trail, pavilion, playground equipment, the Scout & Guide Hall and a baseball field.
  • Pavilion rentals are $45 per day, and can be rented by contacting parksandrec@lucanbiddulph.on.ca

LUCAN OPTIMIST ELM ST PARK

111 Elm St, Lucan, ON

  • This park is the site of the splash pad, which makes it a popular place to be in the summer! It also includes playground equipment, swings, a walking trail, pavilion, basketball court and baseball field. The splash pad will open for the 2017 season on the May 24 weekend.
  • Pavilion rentals are $45 per day, and can be rented by contacting parksandrec@lucanbiddulph.on.ca

GRANTON PARK

426 Queen St, Granton, ON

  • Granton Park offers a tennis court, basketball court, soccer field, baseball diamond, playground equipment and pavilion (with attached kitchen). In the winter the park also offers an outdoor skating rink, maintained by the Granton Park Committee. The park is also home to the Granton Community Garden.
  • Pavilion & kitchen rentals are $84.75 per day, and can be rented by contacting parksandrec@lucanbiddulph.on.ca
