Bluewater Recycling Association (BRA) provides curbside pick-up of household waste and recycling for residents of Lucan Biddulph.

Residental: Every Friday Both Recycling & Waste
Commercial: Garbage Every Friday and Recycling every other Tuesday.

Green/Yard Waste
Locations: Public Works Yard Saintsbury/Fallon & Granton Park. (April 1, 2026)
This includes clean yard waste including grass, leaves, small brush (less than 4” diameter) and garden trimmings.
**Place brush on pavement and NOT in containers**

⏰ Hours of Operation
- Friday, May 8th | 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Saturday, May 9th | 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (noon)
⚠️ Important Information
- Valid photo identification is required
- No curbside collection will be provided
- Items will not be accepted at the Township Public Works Facility
- Materials must be dropped off during scheduled hours to qualify for the 50% subsidy
- Early or late drop-offs will not be accepted
✅ Accepted Items
- Household Items: rugs, tables, dressers, desks, dishwashers, patio furniture, hot tubs (including covers), faux plants/trees
- Indoor/Outdoor Misc Material: plywood, Styrofoam, glass, vinyl flooring, windows, pressure treated wood, toilets, bathroom vanities, tree stumps, wood panelling, insulation, flooring (hardwood, tile, laminate)
- Large Items: furniture, mattresses, box springs
- Non-Freon Appliances: stoves, washers, dryers, microwaves, BBQs
- Electronic Waste: TVs, computers, stereos, cameras, vcrs, dvd players, monitors, printers, phones, photocopiers
❌ Not Accepted (Under Subsidy Program)
- Construction materials: drywall, shingles (asphalt, cedar, slate, metal), ceiling tiles, vinyl or metal siding
- Hazardous waste: asbestos, paint cans, oil cans, hazardous liquids, chemicals, propane tanks, light bulbs
- Batteries
- Sharps (e.g., needles)
- Appliances containing refrigerants: fridges, freezers, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, water coolers
