The Township of Lucan Biddulph has adopted Fireworks By-law No. 30-2026, which regulates the sale and use of fireworks to help protect residents, property and public safety.
The by-law outlines permitted dates and times, safety requirements, restrictions on where fireworks may be discharged, and permit requirements for fireworks displays. Flying lanterns, also known as sky lanterns, are prohibited.
Set fines of $300 per listed offence took effect September 15, 2026.
Residents and vendors are encouraged to review the full by-law and approved set fine schedule, available below, before purchasing, selling or setting off fireworks.
