PLANNED POWER OUTAGE & ROAD CLOSURE – SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 8
Hydro One has scheduled a planned power outage for Sunday, November 8, from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., affecting approximately 2,600 customers in the area.
The outage is required to allow crews to safely complete work on electrical equipment.
Market Street Road Closure
Market Street will be restricted to local traffic only, with the intersection at Maple Street fully closed. Work will begin early in the morning, with the road expected to reopen in the afternoon. Local access may be disrupted, but emergency vehicle access will be maintained.
How to Prepare:
- Fully charge phones and electronic devices.
- Ensure appliances, including stoves, are turned off.
- Keep refrigerator and freezer doors closed.
- Store drinking water if your water service may be affected.
- Operate generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.
