DESCRIPTION:
The Township of Lucan Biddulph’s “Building Community Together” Campaign is hosting a Colour Me Green Fun Run/Walk on September 24, 2022. Bring the whole family and walk, run, jog or dance your way through our 1k (youth) or 5K (all ages) course at the Lucan Biddulph Community Memorial Centre. We will throw in the colour and the fun! With registration, you will receive a participation medal, tattoo, sunglasses and headband along with one colour powder package when you arrive. There will be colour stations throughout the fun run and powder will be in the air. After your race, enjoy some fun games, food and beverages! Proceeds from the Colour Me Green All proceeds will be go towards the Lucan Bidduph Community Memorial Centre’s Renovation Project. If you don’t want to run/walk, you can still come up and cheer on the participants! Follow the event Facebook page for updates.
RACE INFORMATION:
We will be having hourly races throughout the day starting at 10am and the last race will start at 3pm. Please be aware that our course will be on the track, road and grass. This fun run is open to people of all ages who want to run, walk, jog or dance throughout the course. Throughout the fun run, you will be blasted with colour at various colour stations along the route. With a final big rally of colour blast at the finish line once every hour! We encourage everyone to stay for the finale of their run and use their free colour package to create a giant colourfest!
WHAT TO WEAR:
We recommend that you wear white for catching the brilliant colour and your sunglasses for shielding your eyes.
ENTRY FEE:
ALL ENTRY FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. We are accepting registration online, email, mail or drop off at the Township Office. Children under 8 are free. EVERYONE regardless of age that is planning on participating MUST complete a registration form and sign the waiver. Registration fees can be e-transferred to: @email or dropped off with registration at the Township Office.
