Update from Canada Post - Granton
All mail modules were labeled and sorted on Monday. During this time, they realized that the numbers were off by a number of addresses, necessitating the need to order an additional CMB module. This should be installed by tomorrow at the latest.
In the meantime, keys for the modules already in place were all delivered to customers yesterday. Those who were not home at the time of delivery would have received a pickup card to retrieve the keys in Lucan.

Please see the official notice below that was posted on the door to the Granton Post Office this morning notifying residents that this site will be temporarily closed, effective immediately.
In the interim, Granton post office box (PO Box) customers will be moved to temporary community mailboxes. Information on how to access their community mailbox compartment, and their compartment keys, will be delivered to customers as soon as possible, possibly as soon as Monday April 29th. Those who wish to retrieve their mail in the interim, or who require retail services, may do so at the Lucan Post Office M-F 8:00-17:00 SAT 9:00-12:00. Government issued photo ID will be required for mail and parcel pick up.
Canada Post informed the Township that this is a temporary situation and that they will be seeking another site in Granton for a permanent Post Office site.
