This Monday, April 8, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., parts of Middlesex County will experience a partial solar eclipse, with the peak time estimated to be around 𝟯:𝟭𝟳 𝗣𝗠.

Protect your eyes!  Even a quick peek at the eclipse without proper eye protection can cause serious harm. Symptoms might not appear right away, so be vigilant! If you notice any discomfort or vision changes, seek medical help ASAP.

Never stare directly at the eclipse! Use safe solar eclipse viewers or filters meeting the 𝗜𝗦𝗢 𝟭𝟮𝟯𝟭𝟮-𝟮 standard.

Avoid using cameras or phones for direct viewing—they won't protect your eyes.

Keep a close watch on the little ones—children's eyes are extra sensitive and they may not understand the risks.

keep pets inside..leave pets at home if you are going out to experience the event.

If you're driving, stay safe and keep those headlights on. Eclipse conditions can mimic nighttime, affecting visibility.
