NOTICE OF INTENTION TO REMOVE A HOLDING (H) SYMBOL

TAKE NOTICE that Township Council will, no sooner than Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at their regular meeting will consider a by-law to remove a holding (H) symbol to the zoning of the subject lands pursuant to Section 36 of the Planning Act. The developer is seeking the removal of the holding (H) symbol to facilitate the development of a lowdensity residential block, containing 61 single detached lots. The lands are currently zoned a sitespecific Residential First Density – Exception (R1-11-H-4) Holding Zone. The prerequisite for the removal of the holding (H) symbol has been satisfied as the developer has entered into a subdivision agreement with the Township, has installed all required extensions to municipal services, and has demonstrated wastewater capacity to accommodate development of the lands.
